Tampa Bay’s housing market is becoming less affordable
Median home listing prices in Tampa increased by 15 percent over the last year, according to data from RealtyHop. This resulted in Tampa increasing from the 36th least affordable market to the 29th from September 2019 to September 2020. Listing prices also increased in St. Petersburg, although at a lesser rate of 11 percent.
