Alliance launches effort to tie together real estate around USF, University Mall, MOSI

Efforts to transform the thousands of acres surrounding the University of South Florida into a vibrant innovation district will officially kick off this week.

Mark Sharpe, executive director of the Tampa Innovation Alliance and former Hillsborough County commissioner, is hosting an event Thursday evening to discuss those plans.
