Tampa expands eligibility for home down payment assistance program
The city of Tampa has expanded its eligibility requirements for the "Dare to Own the Dream" homeownership program.   First-time homebuyers participating in the program can now purchase a home valued at up to $300,000, a reflection of the rising costs of real estate. The cap was previously $240,000.
