A recent report from Zillow found that a majority of Tampa users are looking for homes and apartments within the metro area. Based on the Seattle real estate company’s numbers, 61.9 percent of home searches by locals were for homes in Tampa. Other top metros for internal searches were St. Louis with 74 percent, Detroit at 69.1 percent and Jacksonville at 67.3 percent.
