Residential building permits shift toward multifamily in Tampa Bay

The number of multifamily building permits in the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater MSA nearly doubled from January-July 2022 as compared to the same time frame in 2021, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau.
