Former Toronto Blue Jays all-star and Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar has sold off his sprawling Tampa home. Alomar's 18,000 square-foot-home on 3.4 gated acres in Avila has sold for $4 million, according to Premier Sotheby's International Realty, which announced the deal Wednesday. Tampa Bay new home listings down over 30 percent in April, active listings also down

Active listings are down across the U.S., as homeowners wait to see the full effect the Covid-19 pandemic will have on the industry. A recent report from Realtor.com found Tampa Bay’s new listings for April fell 34.1 percent year over year. That drop is lower than in other major metros across the U.S. For example, the Milwaukee and Detroit metros saw their new listings drop 80 percent and 75.3 percent, respectively.
